Research

Mariana at desk

As a passionate researcher in the field of management and organizational studies, I am driven by a deep commitment to understanding the complex and intersecting ways in which inequalities of gender, race, ethnicity, class, and nationality are reproduced and perpetuated within organizational contexts. I am particularly interested in exploring the cultural, historical, and political dimensions of organizational life, and in utilizing the method of intersectionality to deepen our critical knowledge of these complex issues.

By shining a light on the ways in which organizations reproduce multiple inequalities, I believe that we can work together to develop more effective and sustainable solutions that benefit individuals, communities, and society as a whole.

I am excited to continue pushing the boundaries of organizational research and scholarship, and to work with others who share my passion for creating a more just and equitable world. Together, we can build a future in which organizations are truly inclusive, supportive, and empowering for all.

My ultimate goal is to use this knowledge to help create new and innovative ways of thinking, designing, and structuring organizations, with a focus on promoting greater equity, inclusion, and social justice.
