Understanding and addressing the challenges faced by women in the business world
I have always been a naturally curious person, and my passion for exploring the world around me has never waned. As I began my career, I became particularly interested in the challenges faced by women in the business world, and I have spent much of my professional life working to understand and address those challenges.
Today, I am proud to serve as a professor, qualitative researcher, and gender expert, using my expertise to help people and organizations overcome the barriers, biases, false beliefs, and limited worldviews that too often hold back women’s advancement in the workplace. I believe in a science-based approach to my work, and strive to remain authentic to myself in everything I do.
My focus on organizational wellness, healthy work environments, management, equal opportunities, and personal growth has led me to a successful career spanning multiple countries and industries.
With years of experience in marketing, commerce, and sales at major multinational corporations, I have developed the language and mindset necessary to help businesses of all sizes and types.
Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of teaching and conducting research in Argentina, Canada, and Chile, further deepening my understanding of the global challenges facing women in the workplace. I am deeply committed to making a difference, and will continue to use my skills and experience to help women everywhere achieve their full potential.
New Book: Mujeres y ciencia en Chile
2015 marked a turning point in the progress towards equality between men and women with the movements called #NiUnaMenos #MeToo and #8M Feminista. The book presents gender inequality from a rich and diverse point of view, always with an otpimistic and inspiring message towards the men and women who are in academy today or who will be in the future.
